Repair Steps

Step 1 Step 2 Step 3
Step 1:  In the Estimate Process area the vehicle is inspected and relevant data is entered into estimate computer systems. This data is compiled into an estimate that determines the cost of repairs. However, often there is hidden damage that can not be seen until after the vehicle is disassembled.
Step 2: Once the initial estimate has been completed, the insurance company will contacted to review the estimate. After review and approval of coverage is determined we can then proceed with the final disassembly. Step 3:  In Disassembly hidden damages are often exposed along with inner structure repairs that will be required. These additional damages are called “Supplemental Damages” and are added to the initial estimate.

Step 4 Step 5 Step 6
Step 4:  The required parts for your vehicle are ordered, and availability is checked. In some cases, parts may have need to be special ordered and will be handled in the fastest manner possible. Once all parts are arrived and checked for correctness, the vehicle is now ready to start the repair process.
Step 5:  In the Structure Repair area, many cases the vehicle will require frame setup and measuring. A computer based measuring system is used to monitor all phases during the structural repairs. This system assures an accurate repair. Step 6:  In the Body Repair Department exterior panels are replaced or repaired. The exterior fit and function is checked against factory specifications. We are now ready to move your vehicle into our paint preparation department.
Step 7 Step 8 Step 9
Step 7: Paint Preparation is a critical step in the refinishing process of every vehicle. All panels are prepared for paint, then primed and sealed to assure good adhesion when the final top color and clear coats of paint are applied. Step 8: Final moldings and detail pieces are put back on the vehicle in the reassembly area. All the vehicle's systems are checked during this process. The vehicle is almost complete and ready for delivery when it is in this stage. Step 9: During the detail process all dust and polishing compound are removed. A thorough cleaning of interior and dressing of exterior trim is completed. Windows are washed; systems are checked along with all fluid levels. It is at this point that the vehicle is ready for a final quality control inspection.
Step 10 Step 10: Delivery is the last step in the repair process. When the customer arrives to pick up the vehicle, the bill is explained and the final paper work is completed. You will be given a copy of our Lifetime Warranty and Car Care Instructions for your new paint finish.
